Being a Spurs fan, whilst it may seem strange, I am very happy that West Ham have Zola and Clarke. A lot of my mates are irons and when you lot are on your game then there isn't much that can beat being at Upton Park. Everyone knows that the only thing that has kept the hammers from being one of the best teams in Europe is your own directors over the years, starting with Brown, bunch of idiots quite frankly. So I am expecting the match this weekend to be an example of all that is truly good about English football, I am looking for skill, passion, ability and a blinding contest with no shame to the losing side. So why I am I writing this? Because God only knows how some people actually make a living. Mark Lawrenson, in my opinion, has to be the most thick and uninspired football pundit of all time. Always a man to predict the safe option, always the man to do down teams that are trying to play against the financial muscle of the cartel at the top (illegal under European law), and a bloke who is great at telling managers, teams and fans just where they are going wrong from the security of an expenses paid, massive salary, chauffeur driven BBC potato couch. here is his "professional" assessment of our match this weekend: West Ham v Tottenham Some critics expected Wolves to turn West Ham over in the first game of the season, but Gianfranco Zola's side stood up to be counted and pulled off a very good win in impressive fashion. Tottenham, too, have got off to an absolute flier. They were very good against Liverpool and, even though Hull helped them, were good again on Wednesday night. Harry Redknapp returning to West Ham always makes for a good game I feel, and I expect both teams to carry on their good starts with a draw here. Verdict: 1-1 I say that verdict is bullshit!
